I wanted to be a life coach before I knew what it was called. After working in the corporate world for 8 years, I knew something was missing. My work was not providing me with enough personal satisfaction. Through research I discovered that the role I longed to fill did indeed have a name: Life Coaching. I quickly hired my own life coach and embarked on my journey to discover more about this fairly new profession.
Through coaching, I came up with a game plan to become a life coach. I laid out the steps, changed my perspective on what was possible and before I knew it, things started to flow for me. I received my training through The Coaches Training Institute, and in May 2004, founded Impact Coaching Services.
Life coaching is the ideal fit for me. I get to combine my insatiable love of learning about human nature with one-on-one relationships with wonderful people. The bonus is watching the lives of my clients transform. I think I get as much joy from this as they do.
In 2006, I became certified through The Coaches Training Institute as well as The International Coach Federation, the professional association of personal and business coaches.
